Faith That Moves Mountains

In Matthew Chapter 17, we see how the disciples attempted to cast out a demon from a boy and they were not able to do it.

The disciples came to Jesus asking Him why they couldn’t cast the demon out of the boy.

Jesus replied to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

All around us, in this world, we see mountains that need to be moved.

Mountains of sin, mountains of strongholds, mountains of sickness, mountains of deception, and mountains of injustice to name some.

Jesus has given us the answer in how to move these mountains in faith.

Whatever mountain or mountains that come to your mind that you are needing to be moved, IN FAITH, without doubt, speak to these mountains, commanding them to move and they WILL BE MOVED in JESUS’ name!

FAITH WITHOUT DOUBT MOVES MOUNTAINS!!

KNOW THE WHO THAT CAN DO IT AND LEAD WELL

In Matthew Chapter 14:13-21, what I love about this scripture is not just the miracles that were performed by Jesus, but the LOVE and COMPASSION He shows in a time of grief. We read that when Jesus heard what happened to John, He withdrew by boat PRIVATELY to a Solitary place. When the crowds heard of this, they followed Jesus on foot from the towns.

As men, we tend to turn our backs against others who are in need when we are going through tough times. Those surrounding you may be watching you to see what your next move will be when you are going through the fire. The ones who follow you want to see what a Man of God does when in need. That pain and suffering you feel as a man in that PRIVATE, Solitary Place can lead to Breakthrough in someone else’s life who is following you. As Men of God, we need to LEAD the crowd who follows to that PRIVATE SOLITARY Place without rejecting anyone.

When Jesus landed in His Solitary Place, He saw the large crowd and had compassion for them and healed their sick. The disciples tried to send the crowd away so they could eat. JESUS said, “Let’s feed them RIGHT HERE! They don’t need to go away!”

As Men of God, we need to give our followers something to eat. Do not turn them away. Do not let the devil keep you from being an instrument to someone else getting their Breakthrough!

*LEAD the ones who are following you to Jesus.

So many times in life we focus on what we don’t have and lose focus on WHO we have-KING JESUS! The disciples started to focus on just the five loaves of bread and two fish to eat. In man’s eyes, that is not enough, but in GOD’S eyes, there is PLENTY! Jesus asked for the disciples to bring the five loaves and two fish to Him. He lifted it up to His Father in Heaven, GAVE THANKS and they never ran out! THEY WERE SATISFIED!

Five thousand men, besides women and children witnessed what our GOD CAN DO! As men, when we place ALL of our needs in the Hands of Jesus, He lifts our needs up to His Father in Heaven. There is no need to wonder how something can be done. Just KNOW the WHO that can do it!

As you follow JESUS, allow the Holy Spirit to Lead, Guide, and Direct you because our GOD NEVER FAILS! HE IS FAITHFUL!
